Welcome Back!

To the Florida Roll’n Gators

I want to wish everyone a somewhat belated welcome back for the 2024-2025 camping season. Between Hurricane Helene and Hurricane Milton we had a slow start in October, and hopefully everyone survived the storms without serious damage. The November trip to Riverside RV Resort in DeSoto County should get us back on track.

We have a great schedule of weekend trips for the upcoming year, with Grassy Key in December, then back to Sweet Citrus Acres in Crystal River in January. In February we go back to the Orange Blossom KOA in Apopka, near Mount Dora. March is the FMCA 110th International Convention and Rally in Perry, Georgia. In April we visit a new location at the Renegades on the River RV Park, on the Saint Johns River in Crescent City. We finish the season at Island Oaks RV Resort near I-10 in Glen Saint Mary west of Jacksonville. This should be a great jumping off point for those heading out for the summer.

Please review the calendar and make your reservations as soon as you can. There is limited space at these RV parks, and we want everyone to be able to participate.

The new board will do what we can to make this another great year for the Florida Roll’n Gators. Please make suggestions about new places to go, and new things to do.
